Happy Samhain!

lazylovesuggestions:

To anyone who celebrates it, do not feel bad for rejecting an invite to a Halloween party on day that is holy for you. Take this time to reflect on everything that has happened this year. On all your losses. On all your wins.

The veil is thin, and if anyone who you know has passed, and you feel that they should be honored, honor them. They would most likely appreciate your thoughts. If you feel the need to, or if you have a feeling that the spirits of your ancestors will visit this night, host a dumb supper.

If you did not have time to plan anything this year, or if you lack the energy to do so, do not feel bad. It is understandable. Spells and the such requires an amount of energy that one does not always have.

Remember Samhain is a time perfect for transformation, both the ends and beginnings of anything you can think of. Also be sure to remember that the proper pronounciation is

sa-win’ or  ‘sow-in’.
